With a focus on the perils of the occult and the “Satanic panic” era, it is an account of a man’s transfiguration into a demonic vessel. Conceptually, it is a slow driving and a escalating auditory experience. Fusing Doom Metal, Black Metal and Dark Ambient, it forms a idiosyncratic approach . Instead of the traditional “funeral doom” approach, there is a deviation of sounds on the album which take you through a chronicle of destruction and chaos. Ghost World and Taken By The Black set the tone for the album, hitting the apex of the 1st arc with Evolution of the Demon. Self produced and recorded over a years timespan, it took a profound and lengthy time for completion. I had to reach a definitive alignment on where to guide this project- that the vision in my head was mesial to how the album is executed, thus bringing D.U.M.E into fruition.
